Multi-year Digital Accessibility Plan

1. Introduction

This document presents Lafuma Mobilier’s multi-year digital accessibility plan, covering a period of three years.

The objective is to ensure accessibility of digital services for all users, including people with disabilities.

2. Commitment and Accessibility Policy

Lafuma Mobilier is committed to progressively integrating digital accessibility into its online services.

To this end, we commit to completing this multi-year plan by respecting and following the nine key areas required for its full implementation, namely:

2.1 Strategy

Lafuma Mobilier’s accessibility strategy is currently being structured.

It aims to integrate accessibility from the early stages of digital projects, raise awareness among internal teams, and prioritize essential services for users.

The initial steps include:

  • Identifying the services concerned
  • Initiating compliance audits
  • Building a realistic and progressive multi-year action plan

2.2 Accessibility Lead

A digital accessibility lead is currently being appointed.

This person will play a key role in:

  • Coordinating the initiative
  • Supporting internal teams
  • Monitoring regulatory and technical developments

A dedicated role description will be defined in the coming year.

2.3 Resources

At this stage, resources are mainly internal (project managers, IT managers, communication teams).

External support is being considered to:

  • Support audits
  • Train teams
  • Provide guidance on accessibility best practices

The objective is to structure both human and financial resources as part of the multi-year plan.

2.4 Job Descriptions

Integrating accessibility-related responsibilities into job descriptions is a medium-term objective.

A review will begin in 2025 to identify the relevant roles (content editors, developers, project managers, etc.) and incorporate accessibility into professional frameworks.

2.5 Training

Initial awareness sessions on digital accessibility are planned starting in 2025.

The objective is to begin upskilling teams through:

  • Awareness of disabilities and digital barriers
  • Introduction to RGAA
  • Overview of regulatory requirements and challenges
  • Practical modules tailored to different roles (content, development, etc.)

2.6 Governance

The governance of this initiative is currently being defined.

A cross-functional steering committee will be established, including relevant internal stakeholders (IT, communication, management, legal, etc.).

This committee will oversee the progress of the action plan and ensure consistency across initiatives.

2.7 Procurement

Integrating accessibility into digital procurement processes is a priority to be addressed in the coming months.

Work will be carried out with the Procurement Department to:

  • Review specification templates
  • Introduce clauses aligned with EN 301 549 and RGAA standards
  • Raise awareness among teams regarding accessibility compliance in digital services

2.8 Digital Projects

Future digital projects will progressively integrate accessibility requirements.

The objective is to embed accessibility into:

  • Project specifications from the scoping phase
  • Tool and solution selection
  • Validation stages before going live

Support will be provided to project managers to ensure practical and realistic implementation.

2.9 Annual Action Plan Review

The first annual action plan will be developed following an initial assessment planned for 2025.

This review will help evaluate:

  • Actions carried out
  • Priorities for the following year

It will be part of a continuous improvement approach, with transparent communication on progress.

3. Compliance Implementation

New Projects and Compliance

  • New projects: Accessibility is considered from the design phase
  • User testing: Users with disabilities will be involved in testing whenever possible

Fixes and Improvements

  • Corrective measures: Audits identify non-compliant content, and a remediation schedule is established to improve user experience

4. Action Plans and Monitoring

  • Annual action plan: An action plan is defined each year to ensure continuous improvement
  • Progress monitoring: An annual review is conducted to assess accessibility status and define priorities for the following year
