We recommend choosing the size of your camping table based on the number of guests you wish to accommodate. Are you planning a getaway for two or with family? LAFUMA MOBILIER camping tables, available in square or rectangular formats, can host between 2 and 6 people. They come in various dimensions, ranging from 57 to 69 cm in width and between 73 and 115 cm in depth, depending on the selected model. The ARIZONA table is ideal for gatherings of 6 people, while the FIDJI, CALIFORNIA, and LOUISIANE models are well-suited for 2 to 4 people. The smaller models can also be used as side tables or serving tables in addition to a larger main table.

Also, consider the intended use of your camping table. If you plan to venture into rugged terrain or simply wish to set up no matter the slope of the ground, we recommend opting for one of our models equipped with telescopic legs. This allows you to maintain a horizontal surface position in all circumstances. You can independently adjust the height of each leg between 59 and 73 cm for the ARIZONA camping table and between 52 and 74 cm for the LOUISIANE and CALIFORNIA models.

What is the most durable material for a camping table?

To avoid disappointments and ensure longevity, it is essential to select waterproof or water-resistant camping furniture capable of withstanding various weather conditions (wind, sun, rain, snow, mud…).

An aluminum structure is a wise choice for a camping table: it is moisture-resistant and corrosion-free, making it particularly suitable for stays in coastal areas. At LAFUMA MOBILIER, most of our camping tables are made of brushed aluminum, a finish that protects and prolongs the product's lifespan. The lightweight nature of aluminum allows for easy transport of your furniture from one place to another.

If you're heading to a windy destination, it's better to choose a camping table made of HLE steel (High Elastic Limit), a particularly robust material while remaining fairly lightweight. Coated with 100% polyester French powder paint, it is resistant to UV rays and impacts. If you opt for the HLE steel, we recommend our ARIZONA folding table, which features a thick 20-millimeter tube steel frame.

It is impervious to UV rays, scratches, heat, and can endure temperatures up to 140°C. CALIFORNIA: This aluminum table can accommodate up to 4 diners. It features foldable telescopic legs and elastomer foot pads, providing excellent stability for its tabletop. Once folded, its compact size allows for easy moving and storing.

LOUISIANE: Gather between 2 and 4 people around your LOUISIANE table. It can be folded quickly and safely thanks to its collapsible telescopic legs equipped with a safety latch. Depending on the terrain, you can adjust its height between 52 and 74 cm. Sturdy, it features a solid 12 mm thick tabletop. All three models have a robust 20 mm thick aluminum alloy base.

ARIZONA: This is one of our largest camping tables. It’s perfect for large families and groups of friends as it can seat up to 6 people. It’s constructed with a black HLE steel frame, ensuring great robustness and durability. Its four telescopic legs can be adjusted independently, providing unbeatable stability even on uneven terrain.

Are LAFUMA MOBILIER camping tables easy to transport?

All our camping tables are foldable and compact: once closed, they take up minimal space, with a depth of just 4 to 5 centimeters depending on the model chosen. This makes it easy to slide your table into the trunk of your car for a picnic or outdoor adventure, or to store it against a wall when not in use.

As mentioned, the aluminum used for the structures of our FIDJI, CALIFORNIA, and LOUISIANE tables is a very lightweight material, perfect for portable outdoor furniture… so much so that our FIDJI model weighs less than 4 kg! Our ARIZONA table, made from HLE steel and able to accommodate up to 6 people, is also relatively light (less than 10 kg) and easy to move. This allows you to take your camping furniture wherever you want with ease!

Are our camping tables easy to clean?

The materials used for the structures of our camping tables, whether aluminum or steel depending on the chosen model, require little maintenance. To remove any traces or residues after use, simply wipe it down with a damp sponge and dry it with a non-abrasive, lint-free cloth. And that’s it: your table is ready to host the next meal or a lively game of cards.

To prolong the lifespan of your camping furniture, we recommend storing it indoors after use, such as in a garage or garden shed, especially during the winter months.
